Therapy for Therapists (and Other Helping Professionals)

You’re a therapist: you get it!

No matter how much we love our work, this can be a tough job. Our work is incredibly rewarding, but it has its challenges. If you’ve been experiencing burnout, struggling with countertransference, or noticing symptoms of secondary traumatic stress, please get in touch. I’d love to work with you (at a reduced rate for helping professionals).

Note that this is not supervision and I am not a supervisor.

My goal is simply to provide support for fellow early-career therapists — and social workers, medical professionals, child protection officers, activists, advocates, and anyone who works in the field of helping others — so we can be present for clients and continue doing work that sustains us, rather than drains us.

P.S. You can use the Professional Quality of Life Measure (ProQOL 5.0) to assess your feelings about your work and its impact on your mental and emotional wellbeing. If you notice anything concerning, let’s talk!
